LegalCraft Transcend is a highly flexible, powerful and usable transcript and Evidence Management solution developed to cater to the needs of legal professionals.

The application is designed to be flexible and works with multiple data sources.  Its flexibility in dynamically adding and removing features based on user needs, puts it far ahead of other applications in the same domain.

Transcend is developed to meet the requirements of Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act.

In its first version, LegalCraft Transcend ships with support for English and French.

In addition to the routine features expected of a Transcript Management solution, such as Annotations, Quick Marks, Reports, Print/Preview and Import/Export, Transcend has following unique features:

1. Data Source (XML, Access, SQL Server):

Transcend is designed to work with various data sources such as XML files in file system, RDBMS databases such as MS SQL Server and MS Access.

2. Turn on/off Feature sets dynamically:

Based on their work needs users can turn features on/off.  For example, if Full Text Search is not routinely used by an Attorney in Deposition Rooms, the feature can be turned off.  When required, the user can add the feature back on the fly.

3. Full Screen View:

Transcend allows the user to view the opened transcripts in a “full screen view” that hides all the surrounding panels enabling complete focus on the working transcripts.  This view is most useful during Realtime reception when the interaction is limited to Annotating and Quick Marking.

4. Auto Scroll:

With a single mouse click, user can set the transcript to scroll automatically.  This feature, when combined with the full screen view, provides effortless reading experience.

5. Ability to work with Multiple Transcripts:

Transcend opens multiple transcripts and Reports in a tabbed interface that enables the users to switch between these quickly.

6. Full Text Search:

Transcend has an integrated proprietary search engine that delivers complex searches such as - Phrasal, Boolean, Wild card, Thesaurus, Fuzzy and Proximity searches.

7. Structured Transcripts:

Transcend has built-in support to read structured transcripts based on well-defined Australian and UK standards. New transcript structures can be easily defined to accommodate evolving and new standards.
